Permit Central Pro is a Florida-based software company providing a cloud-based permit management platform to contractors, developers, permit expediters, and other business professionals across the United States. We are the data controller for information collected through our Platform.

2.1 Information you provide directly

When you create an account, purchase a subscription, or use the Platform, we collect:

  • Billing address and payment information (processed securely through our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers)

  • Phone number (if provided)

  • Job title or role

  • Login credentials (password stored in encrypted form only)

2.2 Information about your permit work

When you use the Platform to manage permit applications, we collect the project and permit data you enter, including:

  • Project addresses and descriptions

  • Permit application details, statuses, and notes

  • Documents and files you upload

  • Communications and activity logs within the Platform

2.3 Usage and technical data

We automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Platform, including:

5. Your Data and Your Rights

5.1 You own your permit data

All permit application data, project records, and documents you enter into the Platform belong to you. We process this data only to provide the service. You can export your data at any time from within your account.

5.2 Rights for all U.S. users

Regardless of what state you are in, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements

  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

5.3 California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

5.4 Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other state residents

Residents of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), and other states with applicable privacy laws have rights similar to those described above, including access, correction, deletion, and portability. Contact us at david@permitcentralpro.com to submit a request.

5.5 Florida residents (FDBR)

Florida residents have rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of personal data we hold about you. You may also opt out of the processing of personal data for targeted advertising — which we do not engage in.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your account and permit data for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel your subscription:

  • Your data remains accessible for 30 days so you can export it

  • After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted from our systems

  • Billing records and transaction history are retained for 7 years as required by law

7. How We Protect Your Data

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest

  • Access controls limiting who can view your data internally

  • Regular security monitoring and vulnerability assessments

  • Secure, redundant cloud infrastructure

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you without undue delay and in accordance with applicable state breach notification laws.

No system is 100% secure. While we take data protection seriously, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Platform is intended for use by business professionals and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
